If you want to live fearlessly and create the life you deserve, there’s no better time than right now! So, how can you make positive life changes and achieve your personal goals?

First, it’s important to understand that your inner world creates your outer reality. And, you already have everything you need inside of you to manifest the joyful, abundant life you desire. At every moment, there are an infinite number of possibilities available to you.

However, you only have access to the things (people, experiences, events) that are vibrating at the same frequency as you. And, this idea is supported by the Universal Laws that govern all of us!

“Beautify your inner dialogue. Beautify your inner world with love light and compassion. Life will be beautiful.”

Amit Ray

The Law of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every action, there is a resulting consequence. And, it is sometimes referred to as the Law of Karma.

According to Modern Manifestation, this law works like this, “The actions you take now are creating a future effect on your life. The beautiful thing about this law is that it emphasizes the amount of control we can assume over our lives—the ability to recreate our reality. What you sow, you shall reap.”

To make significant change in your life, think through what actions you could take to set yourself up for success. What does significant change look like and what steps could help you get there?”

So as you can see, it’s essentially important to take ownership of your life, the good and the bad. Fortunately, based on this law, you have the power to change what is not working and create more of what you want!

The Law of Attraction

However, you can’t mention the Law of Cause and Effect without also bringing up another Universal Law, the Law of Attraction. This Universal Law that states that you have the ability to attract things into your life based on your energy and vibrational frequency.

Regardless of cultural and religious background or past experiences, we are all governed by this law. Therefore, whatever you send out to the Universe literally comes back to you in the form of your reality and life experiences. And, it is a Universal Law that governs our world and the entire Universe.

When you realize that you have the power to create your life experiences, your life will change. And, this realization led me on a quest to learn everything I could about creating my best life.

“Creating your own reality is the richest gift you received at birth.”

Deepak Chopra

Vibrational Energy

By employing these Universal laws, you can achieve your dreams. That’s because your thoughts, your words, and actions are made of energy. And, the quality of this energy attracts everything into your reality: people, things, conditions, and experiences.

For instance, when you focus on the negative and have a gloom and doom outlook, you will remain under a low energy “cloud” and attract more of that. However, when you cultivate high energy emotions like love and gratitude, and stay positive, you attract more goodness. And, this creates a chain reaction of positivity!

Live Fearlessly

Here are three action steps that you take to begin creating a reality that is aligned with your dreams and your personal truth that employ both the Universal Law of Attraction and Cause and Effect.

Identify one specific thing you’d like to change in your life. Then, make it personal. This will create a strong emotion around this new goal to make it achievable.

In order to do this, ask yourself the following five questions:

1. What is one thing I could do differently that would make the greatest impact in my life moving forward?

What change would be the most beneficial to you and have the greatest impact on the quality of your life?

For example, your goal may be to eat a more healthy diet, You would reap the rewards in several different areas of your life: overall wellness, weight loss, self-confidence, and mood. Or, maybe your goal is to pay off financial debt. As a result, you could put more money aside for retirement or for your children. And, your future self will greatly appreciate that!

“We become what we repeatedly do.”

Stephen Covey

2. Why is reaching this goal so important to me?

Only you know what these life changes would mean to you personally. The health benefits of a well-balanced diet would generally be the same for everyone. But, it’s your journey. So, what does change look like specifically in your life?

For instance, “Eating healthy foods would give me more energy. When the kids visit, I can be more active. I’d love to take them on a bike ride or for a walk in the park.” Or, “I’d like to start running and participate in a 5K by this time next year.”

Creating a clear picture of what you want to achieve will inspire you to keep going!

3. What positive thoughts can I generate around accomplishing this goal?

What are some good-feeling, positive statements you can make regarding the attainment of this goal?

Because our thoughts are often repetitive and even negative, it’s important to be mindful of them when trying to affect change in your life. So, you may want to incorporate some positive affirmations into your daily routine to keep you inspired.

But, be patient and kind to yourself during this process of trnasformation. It takes time and practice to disrupt familiar thought patterns and create new ones.

4. What positive feelings can I generate around accomplishing this goal?

Imagine all of the the wonderful emotions you will have when you finally achieve your goal! Stay with those positive feelings for as long and as often as possible.

Then, act as if everything you want is already yours. This behavior will increase your vibrational frequency and send our a clear signal of abundance to the Universe.

5. What do I want my legacy to be?

Being of service to others and taking the focus off of yourself, is important for personal growth and self-esteem. For instance, if you’re eating better, you’ll prepare nutritious meals for your family. This may inspire you to post some of your new recipes on social media, or even start your own blog!

This is just one example of how the changes you make will take your life to the next level. As a result, you put out good into the world.

“The value of a human being can be measured by what he or she most deeply wants.”

Rumi

Stay Motivated

Staying motivated is key, so don’t stop there! Use the following daily practices as inspiration. They’ll give you the support you need to keep moving forward when you lose steam.

1. Create one or two positive affirmations and repeat them everyday, as often as possible!

Make them specific to your goal. Here’s an example, instead of saying, “I will no longer overeat when I’m upset.” Say, “I ingest healthy, nutritious foods that give me energy.”

Positive affirmations are most effective when you follow some simple guidelines:

  • Always use the present tense.
  • Treat them as statements of fact.
  • Choose positive words and phrases only.
  • Act as if what you want is already yours.

2. Make a vision board dedicated to this one goal.

Visualization is the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. It’s an effective way to rewire your brain and make permanent life changes! An easy, effective way to do this is to create a vision board.

Fill your vision board with photos, illustrations, quotes, and phrases that mirror exactly way you want in your life. Be as specific and as ambitious as possible! Then, look at your vision board as often as possible! And, be sure to keep it updated to reflect what you truly desire.

Remember, your inner world creates your outer reality. The more you feel the emotions associated with achieving your goals, the better!

3. Rewire your brain.

In order make permanent life changes, you actually need to change your brain! And, this is exactly what happens when you learn new things. So, start by visualizing all of the benefits and wonderful new opportunities that will present themselves when you reach your goal. Then, get curious.

For example, if you want to eat healthier, learn the science behind good nutrition. What do natural foods do for our bodies, as opposed to processed foods? Compare the nutritional value of different fruits and vegetables.

Or, if you’re working on paying off debt, read up on money management and investing. This can open up new doors that you never even considered!

Believe!

Believing in yourself is essential! If you don’t see things through to the end, it can chip away at your self confidence and self-esteem. When something speaks to your soul, don’t ignore it.

Expect to fail because when you’re trying to do something hard or new, it will feel uncomfortable and you may fail at first. But, don’t give up easily. When you feel discouraged, remember that failure is just another word for expansion. And, it’s very often the first step on the road to success!

Life is about moving forward and learning more about yourself along the way. Know that you have the inner strength to do whatever you put your mind to. And, by accomplishing your goals, you will be a role model for many others!
