Coenzymes allow other enzymes to do what they are meant to do. An article in HealthNews explains, “Coenzymes like NAD bind to our enzymes to help initiate and accelerate actions that are essential to our body’s healthy function.”

In other words, NAD is a key component of bodily functions that keep you young! These include the oxidation-reduction and regulation of metabolism and circadian rhythm (or natural sleep-wake cycle). Just as importantly, NAD supports cellular functions like DNA repair and immune cell function.
